Archeology Trail is an easy kid friendly hike in Zion National Park the gives hikers a glimpse into Zion's Native American history. The park says this trail is "short, but steep. Starts across from the entrance to the visitor center parking lot. Climbs to the outlines of several prehistoric buildings. Trailside exhibits." There are three campgrounds in Zion National Park. The South and Watchman Campgrounds are located in Zion Canyon. The Lava Point Campground is roughly an hours drive from Zion Canyon on the Kolob Terrace Road.
