Activities & Features

Acadia Wonderland Trail is an easy hiking trail in Acadia National Park that weaves through an evergreen forest to the rocky Atlantic shoreline. The trailhead is located along Route 102A about a mile south of Seawall Campground. Nearly 340 different bird species have been recorded in Acadia National Park, including twenty-three different species of warblers that breed in the park. The incredible diversity makes Acadia one of the premier bird-watching destinations in the country. Hikers that watch and listen along the trail will likely spot quite a few. Acadia has five campgrounds.
