Whitetail Trail is a very easy hike in Mark Twain State Park near Columbia Missouri and is incredibly scenic. The blue blazed trail weaves along the lake and its sheer rock cliffs. This trail shares a trailhead with the Dogwood Trail and can be combined for those looking for a longer hike. This hike is great for dogs, but your pup must be on leash. Also, Mark Twain State Park has a campground.
