White Rim Overlook Trail is an easy kid friendly day hike in Canyonlands National Park that leads to a spectacular vista. This trail is a great choice for an early morning hike. The sun lights up the canyon in a spectacular fashion and its short distance makes a great choice for hikers traveling with small children or the elderly. This hike is located in the park's Island in the Sky District. Canyonlands National Park has two campgrounds, Squaw Flat Campground in The Needles District and Willow Flat Campground in the Island in the Sky District.
