This trail to Wapama Falls is a fantastic hike in the Hetch Hetchy area of Yosemite. The trail has amazing wildflowers and ample opportunities for wildlife viewing in addition to the waterfall. Keep an eye peeled for poison oak remember leaves of three, let it be. This trail a crowd pleaser for the whole family. There is camping available in Yosemite National Park.
History
The O'Shaughnessy Dam flooded the Hetch Hetchy Valley in the early 20th century. Many say the valley before it was flooded rivaled Yosemite in sheer beauty.
