Upper Paddock and Talkington Loop is a tough hike in Theodore Roosevelt National Park that is a great choice for hikers and backpackers looking to get away from people. The park says "this trail combines part of the Lower Talkington Trail with the Upper Talkington and Upper Paddock Creek Trails. Accessing the loop from Painted Canyon will add 4 miles round trip to your hike." This hike is in the park's southern unit. There is camping available in Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The Cottonwood Campground is in the TRNP south unit and the Juniper Campground is located in the north unit.
