Tumbled Rocks Trail is an easy hiking trail in Devil's Lake State Park near Madison Wisconsin. This trail is the park’s most popular trail and for good reason. It follows the lakeshore and winds through boulder talus fields at the base of the west bluff. Hikers can expect amazing views along the lake. This trail is dog friendly, so long as your furry friend is on leash. Many of the parks trails can be combined to form longer hikes. There is camping available in Devil's Lake State Park and the park is also a great choice for winter outdoor recreation such as snowshoeing.

History

Devil's Lake State park was founded in 1911 and is Wisconsin's most visited and third oldest state park.
