Timber Creek Overlook Trail is an easy kid friendly hike in Zion National Park that is a great choice of hikers who want to beat the crowds but are travelling with children. This trail follows a ridge to stunning views of Timber Creek, Kolob Terrace, and Pine Valley Mountains. There are three campgrounds in Zion National Park. The South and Watchman Campgrounds are located in Zion Canyon. The Lava Point Campground is roughly an hours drive from Zion Canyon on the Kolob Terrace Road.
