Ten Lakes is a popular backpacking destination in Yosemite, hence if solitude is what you seek, this may not be the trail for you. The trail itself winds through conifers, wildflower laden meadows and across granite slabs. Ending at a series of beautiful high sierra alpine lakes. This trek is a great one to break into two days and enjoy the breathtaking scenery a little longer. This hike is kid friendly, but is likely to much in a single day for young kids. There is camping available in Yosemite National Park.
