Tanalian Mountain Trail in Lake Clark is a tough hike that immerses hikers in a true wilderness. The trail offers sweeping panoramic views of Lake Clark and the surrounding mountains. This trail climbs nearly 4000 feet and may not be appropriate for young children. There is camping available in Lake Clark National Park.
President Jimmy Carter signed Lake Clark National Park and Preserve into law in 1980.
