Sulphur Mountain is a difficult 11 km hiking trail in Banff National Park. The trailhead is located at the Banff Upper Hot Springs parking lot at the end of Mountain Avenue. Hikers can expect a fair amount of elevation gain, but are rewarded for all of the relentless switchbacks with a truly incredible views. Once hikers reach the observation deck they can take a 1 km boardwalk spur trail that leads to leads to more incredible views and the remnants of the Cosmic Ray Station, and the Sanson Peak Weather Observatory.
