South Lake Trail is a very easy hike in Radnor Lake State Park near Nashville, Tennessee. This easy trail is great for those hiking with young kids. This trail is dog friendly, so long as your furry kids are on leash. No camping is available at Radnor Lake State Park. The park says it "is perfect for nature enthusiasts to observe owls, herons and waterfowl as well as many species of amphibians, reptiles and mammals such as mink and otter. Hundreds of species of wildflowers, mosses, fungi, ferns and other plants as well as trees, shrubs and vines add to the natural ecological diversity of the area."
