Slough Creek is a kid friendly and fantastic hike in Yellowstone National Park's Lamar Valley. The watch for bears and make sure to bring your fly rod! The trail rises gently then mellows out along Slough Creek. Wildlife is plentiful in the area of the park. Grizzly Bears are commonly sited along Slough Creek, that said make sure you are comfortable hiking in Grizzly country and know how to stay safe. Slough Creek offers world class fly fishing. There is camping throughout Yellowstone National Park.
