Notes

Shuckstack Fire Tower Trail is a difficult hike in Great Smoky Mountains National Park that features panoramic views from a historic fire tower. Along the way hikers pass by wonderful displays of wildflowers and ample opportunities for wildlife viewing. Once at the top, the view is absolutely fantastic and makes every 2000 plus feet of elevation gain worth it. For those looking for a shorter hike, once you reach the tower head back the same way you came for a 7-mile round trip hike. There is plenty of camping available in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
