Sand Bench Trail is a moderate kid friendly hike in Zion National Park that features spectacular canyon scenery. The park says this hike is also used a "commercial horse trail from March to October. Hike atop a massive landslide under The Sentinel. Deep sand and little shade." There are three campgrounds in Zion National Park. The South and Watchman Campgrounds are located in Zion Canyon. The Lava Point Campground is roughly an hours drive from Zion Canyon on the Kolob Terrace Road.
