Rock House Cave Trail is a very easy hiking trail in Petit Jean State Park near Little Rock Arkansas that gives hiker a little bit a of history lesson. The Rock House Cave is not actually cave, but rather a large rock shelter and was once used by Native Americans. Hikers can see faint remains of pictographs towards the back on the ceiling of the shelter. On your way back to the trailhead, make to stop and take in the large “turtle rocks.” There is camping available in Petit Jean State Park.
