Rinconada Canyon Trail is an easy hike in Petroglyph National Monument, near Albuquerque. This trail has many easy to view petroglyphs and is perfect for kids.The Rinconada Canyon Trail passes by many historic petroglyphs. Some of the rock art hikers can expect to see includes, human like images, animals and many other intricate designs. It is thought that Ancestral Pueblo people drew most of the images up to 700 years ago. The Pueblo people of today still maintain the canyon is sacred, so tread lightly and leave everything as you found it. There is no camping available in Petroglyph National Monument.
