Ridge Lakes Trail is short but steep kid friendly hike in Lassen Volcanic National Park that offers hikers wonderful scenery. The park says this "steep trail climbs up a ridge and then through a ravine to Ridge Lakes nestled in a basin between Brokeoff Mountain and Mt. Diller." The trailhead is located at the Sulphur Works parking area 1 mile from southwest entrance. There is camping available in Lassen Volcanic National Park.
