This trail to Rancheria Falls is a fantastic hike in the Hetch Hetchy area of Yosemite. The trail has amazing wildflowers and tons of opportunities for wildlife viewing in addition to several beautiful waterfalls. Along the way hikers pass Wapama Falls and Tueeulala Falls. Keep an eye peeled for poison oak, but other than this trail a crowd pleaser. It should be noted Rancheria Falls is somewhat notorious for bears. Keep that in mind when trekking through. There is camping available in Yosemite National Park.
The O'Shaughnessy Dam flooded the Hetch Hetchy Valley in the early 20th century. Many say the valley before it was flooded rivaled Yosemite in sheer beauty.
