Prospect Creek Trail is a difficult hike in Lassen Volcanic National Park that is perfect for hikers looking to get off the beaten bath. The park says this is a "heavily forested trail climbs steadily to the rim of this shield volcano's shallow crater. Panoramic views of Cinder Cone area and the east and north areas of the park." This trail splits off from Cinder Cone Trail after about a half mile. There is camping available in Lassen Volcanic National Park.
