The Platte Plains trail system has about 15 miles of trails cover several loops. The trails meander through the maple-beech and pine forest. Along the way hikers can expect access to Otter Creek, Otter Lake, Bass Lake and there are also several access points to Lake Michigan. Keep an eye peeled for an incredible array of wildlife along the these trails. In the winter these loops make for great cross country skiing or snowshoeing.
