Plain of Six Glaciers is a difficult 10.6 km hiking trail in Banff National Park. The trailhead is located at the Upper Lake Louise parking area, roughly 4 km from the village of Lake Louise. Along the way hikers can expect wonderful views for Lake Louise, stunning mountains and glaciers. Make sure to stop and relax along the seasonal tea house along the way. Hikers can connect the Lake Agnes, Plain of Six Glaciers and Highline Trails to form a 14.6 km loop. Hikers can also take a 3 km round trip spur trail to Abbot Pass Viewpoint. From there hikers can look down into the crevasses of Lower Victoria Glacier and look up at the Abbot Hut, which is one of the highest buildings in Canada.
