Opossum Hollow Trail is a moderate kid friendly hike or mountain bike ride in Knob Noster State Park near Kansas City Missouri. Hikers can expect to cross streams without bridges, steep grades and inclines of more than 10 percent, and rocks and roots in the trail. This trail may occasionally be closed to mountain bikes due to bad weather, but most of the time makes for an incredible ride. Keep an eye peeled for wildflowers and wildlife along the way. This trail has red blazes. Trails in Knob Noster State Park are dog friendly, but your furry friends must be on leash. There is also camping available in Knob Noster for those looking for an extended stay in the park.
