Activities & Features
Nisqually Vista Trail is the perfect hike for those traveling with small children. It's a short loop that still offers spectacular views of Mount Rainier. The park says hikers along this trail get to "walk amidst the clouds and see how weather shapes the landscape, plants, and animals of these high-country meadows. Enjoy excellent views of Mount Rainier and the Nisqually Glacier." Mount Rainier has plenty of camping available. Cougar Rock Campground is located in the southwest section of the park, Ohanapecosh Campground is in the southeast, White River is in the northeast section and Mowich Lake is a small tent only campground in the northwest section of Mount Rainier.
