Needles Route Trail is a difficult hike in the Boise National Forest in Idaho. The trail follows a ridge for most of its length providing incredible views along the way. This trail is dog friendly, also equestrians and mountain biking is allowed on most trails in the Boise National Forest, simply check with rangers or your map prior. This trail is located in the Cascade Ranger District of the Boise National Forest. There is camping available throughout the Boise N.F.
