Murphy Point Trail is a moderate kid friendly day hike in Canyonlands National Park that features amazing views. This hike is one of the better hikes to watch the sunset in Canyonlands. It does not get nearly as many visitors as other vistas in the park and for no good reason. The view is incredible and well worth the short hike. This hike is located in the park's Island in the Sky District. Canyonlands National Park has two campgrounds, Squaw Flat Campground in The Needles District and Willow Flat Campground in the Island in the Sky District.
