Multi-Use Trail is an easy hiking trail in Taughannock Falls State Park near Syracuse New York. Hikers can expect tremendous scenery and along the way make sure to listen for abundant songbirds and keep an eye peeled for wildlife such as white-tailed deer, gray squirrels and chipmunks. This trail is family friendly and dog friendly, but your furry kids must be on leash. Taughannock Falls plunges 215 feet, that's the tallest single-drop waterfall east of the Rocky Mountains. It's drop is 33 feet higher than famous Niagara Falls. There is camping available in Taughannock Falls State Park for those looking for an extended stay. This trail is open to mountain bikers and horseback riders.
