Mirror Lake Loop Trail is a moderate kid friendly day hike in Yosemite National Park that feature stunning Yosemite Valley scenery. The park says "the first mile of this trail is a paved service road that leads directly to Mirror Lake. You may access the loop trail from the end of the paved path. The loop follows Tenaya Creek beyond the lake, and crosses two bridges after the Snow Creek Trail junction before returning past Mirror Lake on the south side of Tenaya Canyon." The first mile of this trail is open to mountain bikers and is dog friendly, so long as they are on leash. This is a very popular hike in Yosemite Valley. Plan on seeing people just about anytime, but you can minimize the number by getting a very early start. There is camping available in Yosemite National Park.
