Mina Sauk Falls Trail in Taum Sauk Mountain State Park is an incredibly beautiful hike leading Missouri’s highest waterfall. This easy ADA accessible is a wonderful hike that knocks off two geological sites with one stone. The trail leads to Missouri’s high point and also features Mina Sauk Falls, which tumbles some 132 feet, making it Missouri’s highest. Along the way hikers can expect plenty of wildlife, including an abundance of songbirds as they meander through mixed hardwood forest. This trail is dog friendly, so long as Lassie is on leash. Camping is available in Taum Sauk Mountain Park.
