McAdoo Trail is a moderate kid friendly hike in Knob Noster State Park near Kansas City Missouri. The McAdoo Trails are the only trails in Knob Noster open to horseback riders and hikers. There are backcountry camping sites available along this trail. Hikers can expect to pass through the oldest growth forest in the park, displays of colorful wildflower and ample wildlife. This trail has yellow blazes. Trails in Knob Noster State Park are dog friendly, but your furry friends must be on leash. There is also camping available in Knob Noster for those looking for an extended stay in the park.
