Maxwell Falls is a popular hike in the Arapaho National Forest near Denver. The waterfall is beautiful and is best viewed in the spring when snowmelt has the falls raging. The trail leading to the falls is nicely wooded and follows a stream. There is a strict leash law on this trail, so if you plan on bring your pooch make sure Fido is leashed. This is also a great choice for hikers with small children. There is camping available in the Arapaho National Forest.
