Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias: Wawona Point is a moderate kid friendly day hike in Yosemite National Park. This trail leads hikers to Yosemite’s largest (and more popular) grove of Giant Sequoias to many of these massive trees are nearly 3,000 years old, soar more than 200 feet, are up to 20 feet wide and have bark that is thicker than the length of your arm. The Mariposa Grove contains more than 300 mature giant sequoias. There is camping available in Yosemite National Park.
