Notes

Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias: Grizzly Giant is an easy kid friendly day hike in Yosemite National Park that leads to one of the largest trees in the world. This hike leads to Yosemite’s largest (and more popular) grove of Giant Sequoias. Many of these massive trees are nearly 3,000 years old, soar more than 200 feet, are up to20 feet wide and have bark that is thicker than the length of your arm. The Mariposa Grove contains more than 300 mature giant sequoias. The Grizzly Giant is thought to be the 25th largest sequoia in the world. There is camping available in Yosemite National Park.
