The Manzanita Spring is a very easy hiking trail in Guadalupe Mountains National Park near El Paso, Texas. This trail is kid friendly the park says "begin this hike by turning right behind the ranch house at Frijole Ranch and follow the short, paved trail to Manzanita Spring (.2 mile). Return to Frijole Ranch on the same route. The trail is wheelchair accessible. Manzanita Spring is an excellent desert watering hole for park wildlife and a great birding location." As with all trails in the Guadalupe Mountains, make sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen. There are two developed front country campgrounds in Guadalupe Mountains National Park, the Pine Springs Campground and the Dog Canyon Campground.
