Lost Creek Falls and Lost lake is a great kid friendly hike in Yellowstone National Park leading to a beautiful waterfall and lake. The hike to Lost Creek Falls and Lost Lake begins at the historic Roosevelt Lodge in the northern section of Yellowstone National Park. The hike take about two hours and is very scenic. Along the way hikers pass the 40 ft. Lost Creek Falls, wildflower saturated meadows and Lost Lake. Black Bears are common in the area so please follow all NPS guidelines for hiking in bear country! There is camping throughout Yellowstone National Park.
Roosevelt Lodge was built in 1920 to commemorate a visit by President Theodore Roosevelt. The lodge is the smallest in Yellowstone.
