Little Black Slough Trail is an easy loop hike in Cache River State Recreation Area Illinois that features incredible scenery. The trailhead is located at Wildlife Bluff. Along the way hikers can expect to pass by massive bald cypress and tupelo trees as they meander through swamplands, sandstone bluffs. Keep an eye peeled for wildlife along the way, especially waterfowl. This family friendly hike is also dog friendly, but your furry friends must be kept on leash.
