Mount Rainier

Life Systems Trail is a very easy hike in Mount Rainier National Park. This trail is a great choice for those hiking with small children or the elderly. The park says this hike starts "Ohanapecosh Campground, behind visitor center. The quiet green forests of Mount Rainier offer a shady contrast to the windswept high country of the park. Walk under towering Douglas firs and hemlocks to the bubbling waters of the Ohanapecosh Hot Springs." Mount Rainier has plenty of camping available. Cougar Rock Campground is located in the southwest section of the park, Ohanapecosh Campground is in the southeast, White River is in the northeast section and Mowich Lake is a small tent only campground in the northwest section of Mount Rainier.
