Kaiser Trail is a moderate family friendly hike in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area that features a scenic forest setting. This hike is located in the middle section of the park. The trail follows an old road through mixed hardwood forest before climbing up the ridgeline where it joins the Appalachian Trail. A short stroll down the AT leads hikers to incredible views of the valley below. If hikers decide to hike on the AT, they can create a wonderful loop hike by connecting with the Coppermine Trail. Keep an eye peeled for big game along this trail, if you're lucky maybe even a black bear. This trail is dog friendly, but your pup must be on leash. There are campgrounds nearby.
