Johnston Canyon Lower Falls is beautiful hike in Banff National Park. The trailhead is located about 22 km west of Banff on the Bow Valley Parkway. This trail is one of the park's most popular hiking trails, so you can expect to see plenty of other people. But, a few extra people are completely worth it for how incredible beauty this trail offers. Hikers can expect a steady climb along catwalks that cling to the canyon walls. To get to the incredible lower falls hikers must go through a tunnel for an up close and personal look at the the falls. Hikers can continue roughly another km to Johnston Canyon Upper Falls.
