Notes

Arch Trail is a very easy kid friendly day hike in John Day Fossil Beds National Monument that gives hikers a taste of why the monument was established. This trail is dog friendly, but your furry friends must be kept on leash. Just past the trailhead hikers will pass two fossilized logs that form a "T." At the trail end a delicate stone arch appears.
