Jakle’s Lagoon Trail is an easy hike in the San Juan Island National Historic Park in Washington State. Along this relaxing trail hikers can expect towering douglas firs, cedars and hemlocks. Make sure to keep an eye peeled for songbirds and birds of prey which are frequently viewed in the area. And a heads up, if solitude is what you seek. This hike may not be for you. Jakle’s Lagoon Trail is one of the most popular hiking trails on San Juan Island. This trail is dog friendly, but Fido must be kept on a leash.
