Horseshoe Lake Trail is an easy kid friendly hike in Lassen Volcanic National Park that is sure to please the whole family. The park says this "easy trail climbs gently to a saddle between Juniper and Horseshoe Lakes. It then continues through open forest before arriving at Horseshoe Lake. Good fishing and a ranger station can be found at Horseshoe." There is camping available in Lassen Volcanic National Park.
