Notes

Holy Jim Trail is situated in the Cleveland National Forest right in between Los Angeles and San Diego. The easy trail is good for nearly everyone and is open year round. Holy Jim Falls is beautiful but may be dry if you are hiking the dog days of summer. The area has a very unique history, as California's last Grizzly Bear was killed nearby. There is camping available in the Cleveland National Forest.

History

The "Honey Thief" Grizzly, California's Last was killed in the area in 1907.
