Hoh River Trail is a difficult hike in Olympic National Park. The trail takes hikers through different ecosystems each of which offer plenty of wildlife and scenery. The trail is the ideal hike to explore all the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Lush rainforests bursting with wildflowers and thick vegetation slowly turns into wildlife saturated subalpine meadows as the trail climbs. The hike can be done as a point to point or a longer out and back multi day backpacking trip. Make sure to bring an extra camera battery because this trek is a truly amazing adventure. The Hoh River Trail is kid friendly, however it may be a bit much for those hiking with young children. There is camping available in Olympic National Park.
