Hemlock Trail is a very easy hiking trail in Cook Forest State Park near Erie, Pennsylvania. This trail is kid friendly and dog friendly, but your furry kids have to be on leash. The park says "this trail starts at Forest Road at the end of Longfellow Trail and ends at PA 36 where it turns into Deer Park Trail. This is a great walk for observing towering eastern hemlock trees, some of which are 140 ft. high." There is camping available in Cook Forest State Park.
