Activities & Features
The hike to Harden Lake is nothing short of amazing. The trail winds through Lodgepole Pines, Red Firs and large Aspen Groves that are saturated with spectacular displays of wildflowers. This hike can be wet and muddy through mid August, but for the wildflower lover that's a small price to pay. There is camping available in Yosemite National Park.
The Harden Lake Trail follows the original Tioga Road route. It close in the 1960's when the current Tioga Road finished construction.
