Brecksville Reservation All Purpose Trail is a moderate family friendly hiking trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park near Cleveland.
Ninety Six has a rich and colorful history. It was on the way from Charleston to a large Cherokee village and blossomed into prosperous trading community during the mid 1700s. It was attacked twice during the French and Indian War and was the site of the first battle of the Revolutionary War south of New England in 1775. In 1781 Continental Army Major General Nathanael Greene laid siege to Ninety Six for 28 days, the longest of the Revolutionary War and ultimately proved unsuccessful. Today, hikers can explore individual elements of its history through a series of short trails.
