Gorham Mountain Trail is an easy family friendly hiking trail in Acadia National Park that features wonderful scenery. The trailhead is located at the Gorham Mountain Park Area. Along the way hikers can expect tremendous ocean views, including vistas of Otter Cliff, Otter Point, Baker Island and the Cranberry Islands. Nearly 340 different bird species have been recorded in Acadia National Park, including twenty-three different species of warblers that breed in the park. The incredible diversity makes Acadia one of the premier bird-watching destinations in the country. Hikers that watch and listen along the trail will likely spot quite a few. Acadia has five campgrounds.
