Crater Lake

The Godfrey Glen Trail in Crater Lake National Park is a short yet wonderful hike. This ADA accessible trail takes hikers through lush old growth forest and has terrific views of Annie Creek Canyon. Crater Lake National Park has two established campgrounds. The larger is Mazama Campground, it has about 200 forested sites. For those looking for a more private camping experience, check out the Lost Creek Campground. It has 16 first come first serve sites.

History

Godfrey Glen is named in honor of William C. Godfrey; who was a Chief Ranger, who lost his life in a snowstorm near the south entrance of the Park in 1930.
