George P. Cossar Nature Trail an easy hike in its namesake State Park near Tupelo, Mississippi. This is a good trail for hikers with children and it is dog friendly. Your furry kids have to be on leash. The Park website says the "2.5 mile nature trail begins at the boat ramp overlooking Enid Lake and winds through a mixed pine and hardwood forest, providing a close look at the natural beauty, flora, and fauna found in the park." There is camping available in George P. Cossar State Park.
